Pépinières européennes pour jeunes artistes

David Rolland Chorégraphies has been committed to the Pépinières européennes pour jeunes artistes since 2009. In April and May 2009 the company hosted a Canadian artist, k.g. Guttman (choreographer, visual artist, video artist).
During 3 weeks k.g. Guttman explored the development of a chorography based on the encounter with the history, environment and the culture of the town.
To carry her project through she invited inhabitants every day to share her walks, conversations, and wanderings and to present their personal experience of the town to her. This approach was looking to generate another vision of the town, a cartography sensitive to the environment. She presented the result of her work in the form of performing trails through the Madeleine/Champ de Mars neighbourhood.

In February and March 2010 the company hosted another young European artist and offered public performances of his/her work.
